Apply for Experiential Learning

REQUIREMENTS

• Commitment to enroll as a full-time student in the upcoming semester at GTC
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (Note: some employers require a higher GPA)
• Willing to maintain full-time student status all year unless otherwise stipulated
• Commitment to working 20-30 hours per week with an employer
• Eligible to work legally in the United States long term
• Completion of the Experiential Learning Program application process outlined below

APPLICATION STEPS

(must be completed in order, please read carefully)

1. Apply and be accepted to Greenville Technical College
2. Send the following to ExperientialLearning@promarketlinks.com
   1. Resume (resume assistance is provided by the Career Services office, 864-250-8139)
   2. Experiential Learning Program application
   3. Current GTC class schedule
   4. Current GTC transcripts (unofficial) or high school transcript showing GPA
3. Complete the Handshake registration (FREE)
   
   1. Go to http://gvltec.joinhandshake.com/login
   2. Click on Greenville Technical College sign on
   3. Click on Set Up Single Sign On
   4. Follow prompts to set up your account
   5. Post your resume in the database and send Experiential Learning an email to let us know.
4. Contact Experiential Learning office to make sure everything was received. 
5. Apply for positions on Handshake.
6. Notify Courtney.Kieslich@promarketlinks.com if offered a position.
